ATS and WAAF rehearse their role for the offensive

1 Jan 1942

41 ATS AND WAAF REHEARSE THEIR RÔLE FOR THE OFFENSIVE ENEMY PLANES OVERHEAD! An anti-aircraft battery at work. Women of the ATS handle this job magnificently. Working side-by-side with men, facing hardship and danger as comrades in arms, they defend the villages and cities they love, and the people who live and work in them. Thousands more women are needed for this work—needed urgently. THE offensive must not fail. Every woman, married or single, who is not doing vital work, is needed now in the ATS or the WAAF.
