368 'WINGS FOR VICTORY WEEKS' A message from Sir Archibald Sinclair, Secretary of State for Air Both the Royal Air Force and the National Savings Committee are making a very real con- tribution to the winning of the war, and each realises and appreciates the importance of the "'Wings for Victory' Weeks Savings offensive has opened. I am sure that every man, woman and child in the land is determined to make this the most triumphant savings victory of all. We can all play our part by an all-out and united effort to beat the target figure fixed for our locality and so help our district win its 'Victory Wings.
