ANYTOWN SAVINGS COMMITTEE WAR This is the idea Every town or area whose Warship Week reaches the amount in National Savings at which it aims, will be able to 'adopt' a ship. To commemorate this adoption, the Admiralty will give a copy of the ship's badge for permanent exhibition in the town or area—which in turn will have the privilege of presenting a plaque to be fixed on the quarter deck of the ship.
