The New Ration Book: RE-REGISTER as soon as you get yours The new Food Ration Book will take the place of the old Main Book, the Points Book and the Yellow Supplement on July 26. To be able to use it you must register again (for everything except milk) with whatever shops you choose. Distribution of Ration Books will begin on June 15, but don't worry if yours isn't in an early batch. You may register as soon as you receive your book — and you will be wise to do so, because this will "spread the load" for the shops and make it an easier and quicker job for you.
