Britain's Fire Guard — we men and women of Britain — are resolved and ready to save our factories, our railways, our food, our homes. Fire Guard work is often dull, sometimes dangerous, but it's a job that's got to be done. Our heart and soul is in it. We train and we practise. We know our sectors like the backs of our hands—every corner, every roof top. We watch. We climb ladders, work pumps, wield sandbags.
