How can I save electricity?

1 Jan 1946

How can I save electricity? Question : Is there any way that I can save electricity and help prevent a cut-off? Answer: Yes, by using the least possible electricity when the demands are highest — be- tween 8.0 and 10 a.m., when work is starting in factories, while power is still being used in the home for cooking, heating and lighting, and from 4.0 p.m. to 6.0 p.m., when lights are being turned on in streets, factories and homes. Q. And how can I save at these times ? A. Electric fires use the most current, so we must all be very careful with them.
