Note that it's made with eggs—dried eggs. These help to give it a lovely rich flavour. You need: 4 oz. sugar; 4 oz. flour; 8 oz. fruit; 8oz. grated raw carrot; 8oz. grated raw potato; 1 level teaspoon each of bicarb. soda, salt, grated nutmeg and cinnamon; 2 dried eggs (dry); 2 oz. melted dripping. Mix all ingredients together in the order given.
