FOOD FACTS News about your new RATION BOOK The nest rationing year starts on 21st July, 1946, when you will use a new ration book. Distribution of this new ration book (with a clothing book) will begin on 27th May, 1946. Advertisements in your local newspapers and posters will tell you when and where you should go to get yours. Other arrangements will be announced later for people who cannot possibly fetch or send for their new books at the proper time. TO GET YOUR RATION BOOK (1) Watch for the advertisements in your local papers, and for posters telling you when and where to go.
