ON THE KITCHEN FRONT Coffee Potato Scones Sift 6 ozs. plain flour, 2 level tea- spoonfuls baking powder and 1/2 tea- spoonful salt in a basin. Mix thoroughly with 4 ozs. mashed potato. Rub in 2 ozs. fat with the tips of the fingers. Blend to a soft dough with 1/2 teacupful strong, milky, sweetened coffee.
