STEAMED PUDDING (no eggs) INGREDIENTS: 2 oz. margarine or lard; 1/2 lb. plain flour; 1 1/2-2 level tablespoons sugar; 2 level tablespoons jam; 1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda; about 1/4 pint milk and water. METHOD: Rub the lard or margarine into the flour and mix in with the sugar. Add the jam.
