4 * * SAVOURY EGG PATTY Ingredients : 1 onion or 1 leek, 1/2 oz. fat, 1/2 lb. sausage meat, 4 oz. cooked mashed potato, 2 level teaspoons chop- ped parsley, salt and pepper, milk or stock to moisten, 6 oz. short crust pastry, 4 dried eggs, reconstituted. Quantity: 4 helpings. Method: Chop onion or leek and fry in the fat. When cooked add sausage meat and let it cook for about 15 minutes, work in the potato, parsley, seasoning and enough liquid to make a fairly soft consistency. Roll out the pastry to line an 8-in.
