167 A Message from General Montgomery "The 'Salute the Soldier' Campaign is worthy of the fullest support from us all. We all serve in different ways. But in whatever way we serve, we can all save and lend our money to the State. "Therefore let us rally to the task; with our money and our work. Let us finish off this war, it can be done, and we will do it ... let us really Salute the Soldier in this campaign." SALUTE THE SOLDIER Special Weeks will be held by Local Savings Committees through- out the country during the four months ending 31st July.
