Where your treasure is…

1 Jan 1948

Where Your Treasure Is ... 49 DURING THE WAR, we worked and saved with grim resolution for guns, aeroplanes and bombs—engines of destruction—instruments of death. TO-DAY WE ARE ASKED to save for some- thing better ... to establish the peace bought at so high a price ... for the means of a richer, fuller life ... for increasing prosperity and a larger freedom. AREN'T THESE THINGS worth having? Aren't they worth working for and saving for with at least as much energy and determination as we put into the horrid tasks of war? ONE THING IS CERTAIN.
