To help you on those "rock-bottom" days when your supply of fats is at its lowest, here are some fat-saving recipes and suggestions. Fat-Saving Pastry 1 oz. fat; 5 oz. flour; 1/2 level teaspoon salt; 21/2 level teaspoons baking powder; milk to mix. Rub fat into flour, add salt and baking powder.
