Who is he?

278 Who is he? No need to ask. We've all come to know that rugged outline so well that we can recognise him from here. Old George has been round collecting our Savings for years now and it would take more than rain, hail or snow to stop him. He's a Voluntary Worker in the National Savings Movement and he looks after a big slice of country in our part of the world. But he does this fine unpaid job cheerfully, because he knows that Savings are vital to our Country's prosperity—which in turn is vital to our individual prosperity.
