34 Immediate Commissions as ARMY SISTERS FOR STATE REGISTERED NURSES As an essential part of the British Army, the Army Nursing Service (Q.A.I.M.N.S.R.) is being expan- ded to undertake the greatest responsibilities in all its history. The call is restricted to State Registered Nurses who are asked to devote their skill and knowledge to the noblest work of all—the care of our wounded men. In the Q.A.l.M.N.S.R., Nurses receive immediate commissioned rank as an Army Sister, with the opportunity of promotion to higher ranks in the Service.
