343 3 Nurses! THE WOUNDED MUST COME FIRST Never before have there been so many calls upon the nursing profession, but one call is predominant —the need of the wounded. The Army needs more Nurses on Active Service—will you take up the finest work that a Nurse can do to-day ? Volunteers (who must be State Registered Nurses) will be commissioned at once in the rank of Sister, corresponding to the Army rank of Lieutenant and with the equivalent badges of rank. A special leaflet giving details of how to enrol, scales of pay, kit allowances, etc.
