Who is she?

1 Jan 1946

2### Who is she? Maybe you don't know, but there are plenty who do. They don't need to see her face to recognise her as the girl who comes round regularly to collect their Savings. She's a Voluntary Worker in the National Savings Movement, and if you were to ask her why she's doing this unpaid work she'd say, "First—increased Savings will help the Nation towards prosperity. Secondly — this, in turn, will help towards individual pros- perity. That's why I'm doing all I can to help the Savings Movement.
