344 ON ACTIVE SERVICE NURSES! THE ARMY NEEDS YOU The British Army, preparing for the most tremendous operations in all its history, urgently needs more Nurses to care for the wounded. There is no worthier call for Nursing skill; care of the wounded must take priority. Volunteers (who must be State Registered Nurses) will be commissioned at once in the rank of Sister, corresponding to the Army rank of Lieutenant, and with the equivalent badges of rank. A leaflet giving details of how to enrol, scales of pay, kit allowances, etc.
