Employers! (a message from Mr Ernest Bevin)

1 Jan 1941

322 7 EMPLOYERS! Mr. Ernest Bevin, Minister of Labour and National Service, sends you this message: "THE COUNTRY REQUIRES EVERY WORKER IN A NON-ESSENTIAL OCCUPATION TO CHANGE OVER TO ESSENTIAL WAR-WORK. I believe that every employer will recognise this urgent need, and make it easy for their employees to accept training at one of the Government Training Centres, so that they can fit themselves to take part in the production of guns, aeroplanes and the munitions which we must have to bring us victory.
