carry weight not merely in Parliament but also in quarters particularly concerned with ex-Service questions. It is necessary, therefore, to have consultation with the Council before any final decision to accept this part of the Report is taken. 7. Consultation with the bodies referred to above will necessitate the circulation to them of copies of the full Report, and it must, therefore, be given a fairly wide circulation. Furthermore, although the appointment of the Tomlinson Committee has not been officially announced, its existence has become generally known and there is likely to be a demand for the Report to be published.
