MR. BERTHOUD said that the Ministry of Fuel and Power were particularly anxious to study hydrogenation and fuel developments in general. They considered that the information they required demanded urgent action and they would have liked it to be included on the Black List. It was, furthermore, closely related to bombing research and bombing targets. They were, therefore, hoping to make special arrangements for a party to go out and study these subjects. The following points were made in discussion :(i) The number of items on the Black List was so great that it was not being found practicable by S.H.A.E.F.
