ANNEX A DRAFT DIRECTIVE TO THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES ON THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL COMMITTEE ON CENSORSHIP A case has recently occurred of premature release, by a censorship staff, of stories of accredited correspondents, on the subject of important forthcoming operations. It is true that those stories were marked not to be published until the first communique had been issued, but even so, the release to the press offices of these stories represented a grave danger to the security of the operations.
