A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: that the Army Group B propaganda department appreciated that the Allied Command did not consider itself strong enough to aim at total destruction of the German forces in the Ardennes, on January 8; and of complaints by the Fuehrer Escort Brigade on a shortage of fuel as a regular state of affairs, on January 7.
