A file of correspondence and reports concerning the enquiries of a peer, Lord Avebury, on Britain's relations with Albania. The documents cover a Parliamentary Question to the House of Lords on the obstacles preventing the return of Albanian gold that had been held by the Tripartite Commission since the end of the Second World War; and the basis of Italian and U.S. claims on the gold, which include compensation for the seizure of property, and compensation for the nationalisation of the National Bank of Albania.
