Under conditions of an intensive attack on this country (i.e. a state of siege, or partial siege, and heavy aerial bombing) it is to be expected:- (a) that the supply of oilcake and oil seeds from overseas would be interrupted; (b) that even if the ships arrived in this country it might be impossible for them to unload at some of the ports, particularly Hull and London where, it will be noted, 60 per cent.
