110 Financial Patriotism CHEAP BORROWING BY THE STATE lightens the Nation's financial burden and so gives more power to defeat the enemy and to maintain our industry and commerce both during and after the war. The Government needs NOW vast sums of money loaned in the form of 21/2% National War Bonds. The support of Directors, Trustees, Share- holders and all who are responsible for the investment and employment of money is therefore essential. The urgency of the need—the greatness of the cause—make inexorable demands on us all.
