Clothes rationing - new adjustments

1 Jan 1941

258 CLOTHES RATIONING —New Adjustments Clothes rationing has been in force just over six months— time enough to see where to make adjustments and where details must be altered to help to smooth out difficulties of the public, the shopkeeper and the manufacturer. So a new Order has been signed to take effect from Thursday, 18th December. Among other changes, some coupon values have been revised, mainly to help the manu- facturer to make up goods which the public needs, but for which he has not received enough coupons.
