To ignore this fact in preparing programmes of reconstruction would have serious, if not disastrous, consequences. Now, more than ever, fuel efficiency must be given a prior place in all factory planning. The change-over to peace production is an opportune time for dealing with fuel efficiency in a comprehensive and permanent way. THE PART THE MINISTRY PLAY In recent months, the Ministry of Fuel and Power have been giving special attention to the maintenance of fuel efficiency in factories during conversion to new types of production.
