Report to the Nation No.6. Christmas credit column

1 Jan 1947

372 to the NATION Report THREE MINUTE No.6 Every fortnight—pin it up and talk it over Christmas Credit Column 1947 began in gloom; it ends in hope. The delayed effects of war have hit us with full force. Short rations, shortages all round. But the year ends on a rising curve. The nation faces its tasks: men and women voluntarily work longer and harder. Hardships don't stop them. Production is going up.
