Food Facts No.183 Kitchen Diary

1 Jan 1944

282 Kitchen diary "Food Facts" presents pages from the Diary of a Home Cook SUN My good resolution for 1944—to cut out and keep Food Facts. Have found a grand way of seeing the family get their vitamins — and with the least trouble. I serve raw cabbage salad three or four times a week—just crisp shredded cabbage heart washed in cold salt water, drained well, seasoned and tossed in vinegar. The Americans call it Cole Slaw. Don't like this milk cut but now winter's here it must be a job to keep up the priorities.
