Gas Act, 1948

GAS ACT, 1948 Notice to Holders of Securities of Gas Undertakings. (This Notice should be retained.) The Minister of Fuel and Power has agreed with Stockholders' Representatives the values as shown of the undermentioned securities. A Conversion Date will be specified shortly in respect of these securities and in respect of the securities included in the schedules to the Ministry Notices published in the Press on 19th September, 29th September and 12th October, 1949. Meanwhile, for the purposes of the Gas Council's Notice published in the Press on the 13th April, 1949, the securities will remain "unvalued securities" until the Conversion Date and Part B of the Notice will accordingly apply until the latter date.
