SAVOURY A BIG WELCOME for these PANCAKES What a glorious supper-dish—pancakes stuffed with a savoury filling! There's no egg shortage now that the present ration is two packets of dried eggs for everybody. So serve them often! Mix 4 oz. flour, a little salt, and 1 dried egg (dry). Add 1/2 pint of milk and water mixed—a little at a time—and mix to a smooth batter. (Makes 6 pan- cakes.) Remember that in dried eggs the white and yolk are blended together so that you get the same even mixture every time.
