Re-register for milk

1 Jan 1946

FOOD FACTS RE-REGISTER for with your present retailer When you have your new ration book, you must re-register for milk, as well as for your rationed foods. But there's a difference. If you want to, you can re-register with a new shop for your meat and your fats, and so on. But you cannot change your milk retailer. You must re- register with the one you are getting your milk from now. Why is the Ministry of Food asking you to do this? It's because so many people have changed their addresses that the records have become out of date, and that's bad for everyone — the Ministry, the retailers and you.
