{ { } QUERIES 208 BREAD RATIONING THE MINISTRY OF THIS IS WEEK 2—THE SECOND WEEK OF RATION PERIOD No. 1 (July 21st to August 17th) Q. How does a Bread Unit work? A. Bread Units are just a way of working out how much bread, flour or cake, buns and scones each person or family can buy. Think of your Bread Units as so many points—bread points. Q. Where are the Bread Units in my ration book? A. You will find them on p. 19 in all ration books, on p. 39 in buff, blue and green books. All the coupons, with the exception of the extra ones for some children, adolescents and manual workers, are already in the ration book.
