MINISTRY OF FOOD THIS WEEK'S FOOD FACTS The Scientific Adviser to the Ministry of Food sends you this message on how to keep well in the winter. "I think you all know a little about protective foods by now. They're the foods that build you up and keep you merry and bright whatever infections may be about. this winter, so I advise you all to eat plenty of green vegetables (especially watercress), carrots, potatoes, and salads. Make sure of these protective foods and then you can eat what you like—and you should keep fighting fit.
