Food Facts No.181A message to industrial employers

1 Jan 1944

281 MINISTRY OF FOOD Message TO INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYERS on the new food drink for Under-Eighteens NATIONAL MILK-COCOA Tens of thousands of young people, fresh from school and reaching a vital stage in their physical development, are working hard and long in the war factories and other essential industries. The strain on these youngsters is the tax of total war; and that is why the Ministry of Food is taking special steps to safeguard the health of the under-eighteens during this fifth war winter. National Milk-Cocoa—the new food drink evolved by the Ministry's scientific advisers—is already available to all factories and industrial undertakings in limited quantities.
