Extra food and young workers

1 Jan 1944

285 Ministry of Food's "National Milk-Cocoa" Scheme extended EXTRA FOOD FOR YOUNG WORKERS THERE is good news—food news—today for young workers. From now on the Ministry of Food's National Milk-Cocoa can be made available through their employers to all workers under eighteen—not only to young workers in factories, but to young workers in agriculture and behind the counter and at office-desks as well, wherever a hot drink can be served. It is also available to the under-eighteens in recognised youth organisations holding catering licences.
