Coal supplies during April, May and June 1943

1 Jan 1943

ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF FUEL AND POWER COAL SUPPLIES during April, May and June New restrictions, in force from 1st April, on domestic coal sup- plies for the three months April-June are intended to assist and encourage consumers to start stocking against next winter's needs While consumers are now allowed to have more fuel than they were allowed during the last quarter, this does not mean that domestic fuel economy can be relaxed. Consumers who have room to stock what they will need next winter should start now to lay in coal, as well as other fuels that are more readily available.
