FOOD FACTS Quick HOT dishes —they need less fuel too! There are many ways to cook more quickly, and get equally good results. Here are several recipes and sug- gestions which you will find useful at present for saving time and fuel. QUICK HOT-POT A little fat; 1/2 lb. mince or sausage meat or 4 cutlets; 1 lb. potatoes, sliced thinly; 1/2 lb. leeks, chopped; 1/2 lb. swedes, sliced; pinch herbs; seasoning; water or stock; chopped parsley. Fry meat for a few minutes. If you use sausage meat, make into small cakes first.
