FOOD FACTS To make a CHANGE The Radio Doctor says: "The flavour of food is an appe- tiser. When you fancy a thing, your mouth waters for it. The salivary juices are ready to digest it. Flavoured food is well digested." Here are some hints for flavoured food. Risotto Ingredients: 1 oz. bacon fat, 1 or 2 spring onions, chopped, 6 oz. cooked rice, 4 oz. finely shredded cabbage, 4-6 oz. chopped grilled fat bacon, salt and pepper, chopped parsley. Method: Melt the fat and fry the onion, rice and cabbage for 10-15 minutes.
