Visits to HM Forces in Hospital

1 Jan 1944

1 Visits to H.M. Forces in Hospital Travel Warning If you are the officially recorded next of kin of a member of His Majesty's Forces who is on the danger list, you will receive a telegram giving you the details. It is fully appreciated that the one desire of the next of kin is to reach the bedside of the dangerously ill patient as early as possible, but H.M. Government feel they would be failing in their duty if they did not warn you of the difficulties that such journeys may involve. 1 During the present operations, it is not possible to make special arrangements for the reception of visitors to hospitals, and travellers must be prepared to accept such accommodation and food as are available.
