31### Six Eggs a week for everybody SAVOURY PANCAKES Ingredients: 4 oz. flour, a little salt, 1 dried egg (dry), 1/2 a pint Household Milk (or milk and water), two tablespoons water. Savoury filling such as fried onions or cooked vegetables bound with sauce. Quantity: 6 pancakes. Method: Mix flour, salt and dried egg, add milk—a little at a time—and mix to a smooth batter. Beat the mixture well and cook each pancake in a little hot fat, browning it on both sides. Cook very quickly. Have your savoury filling ready, put a little on to each pancake while in pan.
