Yet the whole port is served by one office — an office on wheels! It moves wherever it's needed, getting perishable cargoes away the minute hatches are off. Because plug points were speci- ally fitted round the docks, this mobile office can plug in anywhere to electric power and to the telephone. Using its own phone, the office is in direct touch with fruit importers all over Britain.
