352 NATIONAL SERVICE ACTS REGISTRATION OF YOUNG MEN BORN BETWEEN 1st OCTOBER, 1927, AND 31st DECEMBER, 1927 (both dates inclusive) ON SEPT 1ST 1945 1. YOUNG MEN born between the above dates must register at a Local Office of the Ministry of Labour on September 1st, 1945. YOUNG MEN WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED UNDER THE BOYS & GIRLS REGISTRA- TION ORDER, 1941, MUST REGISTER AGAIN UNDER THE NATIONAL SERVICE ACTS. NATIONAL REGISTRATION IDENTITY CARDS MUST BE PRODUCED. 2. ALL YOUNG MEN registered will be given the choice of underground coalmining as an alternative to service in the Armed Forces.
