CARROTS as PIG This advertisement will appear in Farmers' Weekly, 13 Feb., 1942 Photo: Farmer and Stock-Breeder FOOD THE National Vegetable Marketing Company is prepared to sell carrots for stock feeding at 50s. per ton (Scotland 60s.), loose in trucks (5 tons minimum) delivered free to the buyer's nearest railway station. Bags extra, if required. Orders should be sent to your usual agricultural merchant, or direct to the National Vegetable Marketing Company at any of their offices. Pigs may be given carrots with advantage to health and condition.
