Potato reserves for May, June & July 1943

MINISTRY OF FOOD POTATO RESERVES FOR MAY, JUNE & JULY, 1943 The Ministry of Food will secure during the next few weeks adequate reserves on farms in Great Britain of potatoes for consumption in May, June and July, 1943. This advertisement will appear, commencing week-ending November 21st, 1942 in English, Welsh and Scottish Weeklies ; also in Farming Trade Papers. Growers should offer their best keeping potatoes immediately for this purpose. Contracts can be made either per ton or by the clamp. TONNAGE CONTRACTS provide for 10/per ton above May, 1943, Fixed Growers' Price for deliveries 1st-19th June, 1943, a further 10/per ton for deliveries 20th June 11th July and another 10/per ton for deliveries thereafter.
