Food Facts No. 103 Counter Attack

1 Jan 1942

This advertisement will appear during late November, December and January in the Trade papers covering Grocers, Greengrocers, Fishmongers, Butchers, Hotels, Caterers. Shop Assistants and Co-operative Societies. COUNTER ATTACK There's no denying that it's tempting to wipe off some old scores when opportunity offers and the customer isn't always right. But is it worth it? Cheerfulness and courtesy at the counter make life run so much smoother and if the customers' manners are not perfect, why let that contaminate our own ? It's a trying time for everyone—how could it be otherwise ?—but we shan't mend matters by allowing war-time conditions to break down our habitual good humour.
