Your childs food

1 Jan 1942

This advertisement will appear in Mid-April Popular and Women's Weeklies and June Monthlies. FOR BUILDING Children need food not only to repair wear and tear of tissue; but to grow. They should add about two pounds of solid flesh a month. For this reason, weight for weight, a child needs more building food than a grown-up. Besides, a grown-up's bones and teeth are already formed, but children have to build strong bones and teeth to last a lifetime. For this they need their cheese ration and school milk ; or in the case of younger children, priority milk and cod liver oil.
