When customers go on like this it is a temptation, isn't it, to show what you think of them by snapping or scowling? Some of them seem to imagine they are the only ones you're serving. But it does no good to lose your temper : it only makes you more and more tired. Besides—well, put yourself in the customer's shoes sometimes. Many of them will have had a difficult morning: things don't run smoothly for anyone these days.
